Production Blues are efficient layers of brown eggs. This breed is a Rhode Island Red crossed with a Blue Australorp. The beautiful blue/gray coloring of the bird is striking and unusual. Babies are light yellow with gray patches all over. Mature females typically weigh 4 lbs.
